This employee collects, reviews, analyzes, reconciles, and interprets payroll data as it relates to payroll earnings, taxation, garnishments, and regulatory compliance for multi-state payroll processing.
Reports, analyzes, and maintains Lincare payroll processes and systems to best ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
JOB FUNCTIONS
Collects, inputs, imports, audits, and balances all payroll-related inputs to ensure accurate and timely payment of earnings, deductions and taxes, compliant with federal and state regulations
Researches and analyzes discrepancies and processes appropriate corrections
Calculates special payments and adjustments
Processes historical edits and adjusts accrual balances
Assists with time-off request inquiries, approvals, and troubleshooting
Responds to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely professional manner
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Responds to payroll audit requests and ensure SOX compliance for payroll process
Prepares and generates audit and analysis reports as needed for pre and post payroll procedures, government agencies, tax authorities, and other Lincare departments as needed
Assists in developing and implementing payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
