**Shift** : Full-time; Monday-Friday
**Job Location** : Remote, need to go onsite once a month
**The role you will contribute:**
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining employee payroll records, processing employee expense reports, and assisting with other payroll activities. Payroll Analysts are to be cross-trained to cover any similar position that may require coverage with, or without, notice. The Payroll Analyst actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
**The value you will bring to the team:**
· Creates and maintains employee payroll records, including taxes, direct deposits, additional earnings, general deductions, and garnishments.
· Processes 13-week wage verifications and subpoenas in a timely manner.
· Audits payroll garnishments using PeopleSoft queries.
· Mail pay statements and W2s upon request.
· Answer phones and work to resolve HRHD cases.
· Monitor and maintain documents that are received and stored in Perceptive.
· Engages in customer service activities by answering questions on the phone and responding to employee cases created by Employee Services help desk.
· Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
**The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:**
· High School degree or equivalent degree
· One or two years of payroll experience required
**Preferred Qualifications:**
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred
· Proficiency in PeopleSoft preferred
· Familiarity with shared service business concepts, practices, and procedures preferred
