As the Payroll Analyst you will perform deep-dive data analysis into payroll, time and attendance, and accounting practices for multiple countries within EMEA, North America, Latin America, and Asia to ensure compliance.

 

You should have a comprehensive knowledge of payroll accounting activities, including journal entry processing, monthly accruals, and account reconciliations. You will also carry out research relative to payroll, tax, garnishment, and general ledger activity.

 

You will play a key role in identifying and correcting discrepancies and collaborating across teams to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency. This role supports payroll for over 3,300 employees across 27 countries.

 

Additionally as part of your role you will assist in the global (25 countries) transition to a payroll provider with whom we have partnered with to transition payroll and time and attendance.

 

You will be part of the core team responsible for this transition and focus on researching payroll, time and attendance, as well as HR-related requirements to ensure the new platform is designed and implemented according to each country's legal requirements, as well as improving overall efficiencies

 

You can work fully remotely, but if you are commutable to one of our offices (Basingstoke or Stapeley) then you can choose to utilise the offices as you please, however there is no in office stipulation

You Will Intermediate to advanced understanding of payroll laws, calculations, accounting principles, and regulations.Exceptional analytical experience in interpreting data and presenting options.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and country payroll, wage and hour laws, and best practices.Research payroll, wage and hour and accounting structure in various countries to assist with the payroll and Time & Attendance migration projectStay up to date with the latest changes in labour legislation.Evaluate payroll processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to streamline payroll operations.Identify innovative solutions for improving payroll tasks and enhancing operational efficiency being comfortable with out of the box thinkingSupport the initiatives to improve payroll workflows, including the implementation of automation and process improvements.Self-reliant with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven experience auditing payroll and identifying discrepancies.Team player with the ability to interact and maintain relationships with multiple departments.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of management. Requirements Proven work experience as a Payroll Analyst or similar role in the HR departmentStrong knowledge of labour legislation and payroll processesAttention to detail and deliver a high level of accuracyThe ability to maintain a high level of confidentialityStrong organizational and time management skillsMust have knowledge of commonly used payroll concepts, practices, and proceduresAdvanced Excel and analysis skillsStrong written and verbal communication

 

Desirable

Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferredMinimum 5 years of end-to-end payroll processing experienceExperienced in payroll tax, including tax implications of the remote workforceKnowledge of EMEA, North America, Latin America, and Asia Payroll processes and wage and hour lawsShadow payrolls for Expat managementBenefits Administration Experience with payroll systems implementation and migration Business Overview
