Job Description

Position Summary:  Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for an experienced payroll analyst to participate in and oversee

the preparation and processing of the US and Canada payrolls utilizing ADP GlobalView and Workday.

Coordinate processes to accurately compensate new hires, terminations and salary changesProcess exception items such as commissions, bonus payments and stock optionsCoordinates and consolidates payroll files for upload to the payroll softwareCompare data within ADP GlobalView and WorkdayResearches and prepares detailed responses to employee payroll questions.Analyses payroll data to produce accurate and timely paychecksReviews, prepares, and processes payrollPerforms other duties as assigned

 Required Qualifications:

5 + years of experience in Payroll processingPrior experience with ADP systems and WorkdayAssociate’s degree or equivalent work experienceExperience maintaining confidentiality and working in a deadline-driven environmentAbility to be detail oriented and accurate and have effective communication skillsProficiency in system/PC applications (Excel and Word)Excellent customer service skills and strong analytical ability

 Desired Qualifications: 

Payroll Certification CPP or FPCExperience in large multi-state payroll environment
