Position Summary

Exciting opportunity to join our dynamic payroll team supporting the day to day functions of payroll operations. The Payroll Team work to a tight monthly schedule to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time and that all Statutory and other 3rd party payments are processed via the payroll vendor. 

Reporting to the Italian Payroll Manager, the Payroll Analyst will support the payroll process covering multiple payrolls across the country. To be successful in this role you will have strong payroll processing knowledge and experience working with a 3rd party payroll vendor. You will understand the payroll processing steps to follow from ensuring the correct inputs have been delivered per the payroll checklist to performing checks and validations on the payroll outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the analysis and accuracy of tax withholding and reportingResearch and Collaborate with payroll team to resolve employee inquiries/casesSupport investigations and analysis to determine the root cause of payroll challengesWork closely with Finance for payroll accounting entries, reports, and resolving discrepancies.Participate in improvement projects related to payroll processes and in business or functional projects as the need arises.Support internal control standards and self-audit processes related to all aspects of payroll.Research and remain aligned with payroll tax compliance laws and regulations

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of overall Payroll experience, preferably in a large multinational companyExperience running multiple payrolls with large headcounts (more than 2000 employees), under different CBA's (Chemical, Commerce, Mechanical, Dirigenti)Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment, adapt well to changing priorities and work on various initiatives concurrentlyFlexibility when requirements and procedures continuously evolveHighly ethical, analytical, team-oriented, and inquisitiveExperience with Workday and ADP is preferableMultilingual preference, English is a must.
