Kforce's client, a NYC NFP is looking to bring on a Payroll and Benefit Manager for their team. Located in the Financial District of NY the client is offering a beautiful work environment with a hybrid work schedule.
Summary:
This person will perform a variety of administrative and analytical duties including but not limited to the management of organization insurance benefit plans, payroll processing, and completion of compliance reports, to ensure smooth daily operations of the HR department.
Responsibilities:
* Payroll and Benefit Manager administers various employee benefit programs, including medical insurance, dental insurance, group term life insurance, short term and long term disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, pre-tax transit benefits and retirement plan; Ensure employee enrollment materials are received and processed according to insurance carrier deadlines
* Process semi-monthly payroll ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal wage and hour laws; Verify, balance and correct payroll reports
