Payroll And Benefits Specialist
Job Title: Payroll and Benefits SpecialistResponsibilitiesManage the time and attendance process to ensure accurate timekeeping transactions.Audit timesheets and monitor schedule changes in the time management system.Maintain accurate payroll and timekeeping records.Process payroll and bonuses in a timely and accurate manner.Evaluate and document time and attendance processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Verify employment status changes and ensure accurate payroll data entry.Ensure timely and accurate export and import of payroll data into HRIS.Monitor and evaluate payroll service provider performance and resolve payroll-related issues.Run periodic payroll reports and audits for accuracy, taking corrective actions when needed.Prepare and submit monthly and ad hoc reports accurately and timely.Handle all audits and government reports related to payroll data.Collaborate with the C&B team on assigned projects.Serve as the primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.Administer benefits plans and reconcile monthly benefits invoices.Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.Ensure compliance with government regulations and accurate reporting.Supervise and coordinate benefits processing, including enrollments, COBRA, terminations, and claims.Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files and update employee payroll records.Audit the accuracy and performance of benefits functions performed by staff.Coordinate customer service support to internal and external customers.Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package.Design and distribute materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment, and summary plan descriptions.Respond to payroll, benefits, and HRIS inquiries from HQ personnel.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years of experience in Benefits Administration.3-5 years of full-cycle payroll experience.Experience working with non-exempt employees.Manufacturing experience.Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.Knowledge of compensation and benefits.Experience with COBRA, terminations, LOAs, disability, and accident/death claims.Experience with payroll/benefits audits.Experience with multi-state payroll and benefits; international experience preferred.Bachelor's degree.CPP certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year of employment.Additional Skills & QualificationsHuman resources experience.Benefit verification and reimbursement knowledge.Leave management skills.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
