Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll/Benefits Specialist in the education industry. This role involves overseeing all payroll and benefits processes, utilizing the CSIU software. Responsibilities: • Utilize the CSIU software for accurate processing and recording of the school’s payroll • Manage all aspects of daily operations within the payroll department • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, ensuring compliance and accuracy • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner • Reconcile payroll before transmission and validate confirmed reports • Accurately process garnishment calculations and comply with regulations • Execute tasks related to reports, tax returns, W-2, etc. • Collaborate with stakeholders and the HR department to understand and implement changes in payroll and benefits • Develop financial and operational reporting as needed, on an ad hoc basis.
