Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk, located in BALTIMORE, Maryland. The chosen candidate will be part of a team, reporting to the office and handling various responsibilities related to payroll and accounting. Responsibilities: • Handle data entry tasks with accuracy, ensuring all payroll information is correctly inputted • Provide assistance in answering payroll-related inquiries via phone, demonstrating professionalism in verbal communication • Maintain a strong understanding of basic math skills to effectively manage accounting and payroll tasks • Work collaboratively with the accounting team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner • Utilize Payroll system to manage and process payroll • Exhibit strong written communication skills when corresponding with team members and other departments • Understand and apply accounting entries when necessary.
