Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in Atlanta, Georgia. Working within the government sector, you will be primarily handling payroll processing and record keeping, as well as addressing related financial tasks. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of payroll transactions and documents • Keep payroll records up-to-date and meticulously maintained • Address payroll-related inquiries promptly and with a focus on detail • Stay abreast of the latest accounting and payroll software systems, and ensure they are efficiently used • Perform accounts payable tasks as needed • Participate in auditing procedures to verify the precision of financial data • Handle additional accounting functions beyond payroll as necessary • Support with benefit functions to guarantee smooth operations • Use ADP Workforce Now and other financial services tools to streamline processes • Engage actively in financial initiatives and strategies.
