Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Part-time (MWF) Payroll Clerk in a CA Firm, based in San Francisco, California. The role entails managing the complete payroll process, maintaining compliance with all relevant payroll regulations and tax laws, and providing technical accounting support for payroll-related inquiries. Responsibilities: • Efficiently handling the complete payroll process, including data entry, calculations, and disbursement of wages. • Adhering to federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws. • Maintaining precise records of employee hours, deductions, and benefits. • Collaborating with the human resources department to manage payroll-related employee information. • Preparing and submitting necessary payroll reports to management. • Assisting in the reconciliation of general ledger accounts associated with payroll transactions. • Providing support for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as required. • Utilizing financial software to enhance payroll processes and improve efficiency. • Providing technical support for payroll-related inquiries. • Managing multiple tasks effectively with excellent organizational skills.
