Description Payroll Clerk - Job Description Key Responsibilities: + Assist with creating and managing spreadsheets for financial and statistical reporting. + Implement office procedures according to established policies. + Support the Payroll Manager in processing payroll and managing payroll systems (Munis & Kronos), including tax reporting, benefits administration, and system maintenance. + Review and update payroll records for new hires, rate changes, and employee status updates, including pay rates, tax information, deductions, and benefits. + Verify computed wages and correct any errors to ensure payroll accuracy, including changes to net wages, exemptions, and insurance coverage. + Assist in the calculation of pay in line with County and Clerk policies. + Perform additional tasks as required or assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems for efficient payroll processing. • Ability to process manual payroll for an organization.
