Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in Houston, Texas. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be playing a vital role in ensuring the organization's payroll activities are carried out efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities: • Coordinate with both internal and external entities for the timely completion of payroll obligations. • Work proficiently with payroll systems, focusing on understanding the components of pay stubs and compliance requirements. • Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of pay stubs for accuracy, identifying and rectifying discrepancies as needed. • Utilize basic Excel formulas and tools for payroll reporting and analysis. • Input and upload data into payroll systems and related platforms accurately, maintaining a high level of attention to detail. • Complete, verify, and submit certified payroll reports, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. • Process and review fringe benefits, deductions, and other complexities of payroll to ensure their accurate reflection on pay stubs. • Assist with certified payroll reporting, pay stub reconciliation, and fringe and deduction processing. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must. • Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services is required. • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is essential. • Experience with Ceridian software is highly desirable. • Ability to use Dayforce is a key requirement. • Knowledge of About Time software is beneficial. • Understanding and experience in various Accounting Functions is necessary. • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required. • Experience in Auditing is a significant plus. • Familiarity with Benefit Functions is important.
