Description The Payroll Clerk opening at Robert Half is an opportunity to join a dynamic team. This job will include supporting the Payroll department in a variety of functions, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. A Payroll Clerk opportunity, based in the Baltimore, Maryland area, has become available on a contract / temporary basis. Responsibilities - Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system - Deliver instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc. - Configure custom reports - Compile a system of administering and distributing reports - Enter data into spreadsheets and the payroll system - File, scan, fax, and perform other clerical duties as required - Correspond with employees via email and phone to garner approvals on timesheets Requirements - High attention to detail - 2+ years of previous payroll experience - Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks - Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening) - Skillful in learning new processes and systems - Efficient in Payroll software - Accurate, swift, data entry abilities - Employment Verifications experience - Payroll Functions experience - Expertise in Processing Payroll - Payroll experience desired - Proven knowledge of Processing Bi-weekly Payroll Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
