Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the finance industry for a Payroll Clerk at our workplace in Memphis, Tennessee. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be expected to manage payroll processing for our employees and collaborate with our Human Resources Team for compliance-related tasks. Responsibilities • Handle the weekly payroll processing for our workforce • Utilize accounting software systems to ensure accurate payroll management • Collaborate closely with the Human Resources Team for compliance-related tasks • Enter I9 and other essential compliance information for new hires • Use ADP for financial services and payroll-related tasks • Carry out auditing tasks as needed for payroll accuracy • Manage accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) • Handle benefit functions related to payroll • Utilize ADP Workforce Now and other automated payroll systems • Ensure all compliance documentation is accurate and up to date. Requirements • Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role • Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required • Familiarity with Dayforce software is a plus • Knowledge of About Time system is desirable • Strong understanding of Accounting Functions • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential • Auditing skills are a must • Ability to handle Benefit Functions effectively • Experience with Automated Payroll is necessary • Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now is a must • Ability to handle Compliance documentation effectively Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
