Payroll Clerk - Hybrid
**SUMMARY** Perform routine accounting and office/clerical duties such as filing, coding, typing and mailing. Administer and coordinate administrative functions in the payroll office. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** + Maintain confidentiality of payroll and HR records. + Assist payroll team in all administrative functions. + Accurately track and process documents. + Order and maintain payroll office supplies and forms. + Open and distribute mail. + Manage filing and required payroll record keeping. + Maintain regular and punctual attendance. + Perform other duties as assigned. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** None. **Job Requirements:** **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + High School diploma or GED required. **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS** + One (1) year experience in payroll clerk or administrative role preferred. + Prior experience with payroll or HR systems is a plus. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). + Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and theory. + Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, managing files, and records. + Knowledge of arithmetic and its applications. + Knowledge of laws and government regulations associated with accounting practices. + Exceptional interpersonal communication and organizational skills. + Highly proficient organizational and time management skills. + Ability to balance multiple competing priorities under deadlines. + Dependable, detail-oriented and adhere to strict confidentiality. + Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team focused work environment. **WORK SCHEDULE** Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project. **TRAVEL** None. **DRIVING REQUIREMENTS** None. **WORK ENVIRONMENT** Work is performed in a hybrid setting. Employee will work remotely and, in an office setting in Orlando, FL. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing; occasional walking or standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 10 pounds. Moderate to extended periods of office work with heavy periods of computer usage.
