Payroll Coordinator Compensation and Benefits

Payroll Coordinator Qualifications

Associate Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience Excellent English & Spanish verbal and communication skills. Familiar with FLSA and DOL laws and compliance regulations. Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure in a fast faced environment. Ethical and honest. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Excel basic functions knowledge. Experience in using FedEx shipping. Able to pass a drug test and background check

Experience – 2 to 5 years of multi- state Payroll processing experience using ADP Workforce Now or similar program.

Payroll Coordinator Responsibilities

Assists the Payroll team in the processing of various multi state payrolls. Assists in completing employment verifications. Processes employee rate changes, promotions, new hires, terminations, and transfers Assists in the communication and follow-up of managers on pending new hire documentations, I-9 forms, and any employee change matters. Assists in ensuring all time off requests, and timesheets are approved by the allotted deadline. Daily communication with employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. Assists in mailing and handling of payroll checks. Assists in maintaining I-9 forms and employee documents. Assist the Payroll team in ensuring the Department stays audit ready year- round. Assists with W-2 reviewing and year-end processes.
