Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator II for our corporate payroll operations. This role involves processing payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and providing customer service to branch locations regarding payroll issues. The position also includes handling union-related tasks such as processing and reconciling union trust fund payments, generating union remittance reports, and corresponding with union representatives.
Responsibilities:Process payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and efficiencyConduct employment verification processingProvide customer service to all branch locations regarding payroll issuesProcess and reconcile union trust fund payments monthly, meeting all deadlinesGenerate weekly and monthly union remittance reportsReconcile and balance union-related general ledger accounts, including journal entries as necessaryCorrespond with union representatives to facilitate union auditsRespond to union inquiries, maintaining a high level of customer service and consistencyResolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner, maintaining professionalismEssential Skills:3+ years of experience as a payroll coordinator, payroll specialist, payroll clerk, payroll administrator, or equivalentExperience with union payroll processing and practicesProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and VLOOKUPSExperience in the construction industry is a plusKnowledge of multi-state payroll is a plus

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
