Payroll/HR Specialist

Description We are in search of a Payroll/HR Specialist to join our team in the hospitality industry, located in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this role, you will handle tasks related to payroll and human resources, ensuring accurate calculations and processing of payments, amongst other responsibilities.
Responsibilities
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise records of customer credit
• Manage and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status
• Perform calculations for wages, including overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc., using company software
• Process special request checks, returned funds checks, and bonus checks
• Prepare and execute pay orders through company software
• Handle the processing of taxes and payment of employee benefits
• Track hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, and new hire information
• Respond to questions and issues regarding payroll from employees and management
• Prepare reports as needed for upper management and finance department. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Payroll/HR Specialist role or similar.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.
• Familiarity with Ceridian and Crystal Reports.
• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration.
• Proficiency in About Time and Accounting Functions.
• Strong skills in Auditing and Benefit Functions.
• Experience in Full Cycle Payroll and Multistate Payroll.
• Capable of handling Payroll for over 500 employees.
• Ability to process Bi-weekly Payroll.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
• Excellent problem solving/judgement skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
