Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.

Understands and adheres to the importance of total confidentiality of all activities within the Payroll Department.
Demonstrates initiative to resolve problems / issues and to include supervisor in special situations only.
Demonstrates wise time management.
Assists with the setup, maintenance, training and auditing of the API time and attendance system and the Oracle payroll system.
Develops Audits in Oracle and API for policy violations, correct information, potential compliance issues, etc.
Completes assigned system implementations, upgrades and their testing.
Helps to design and implement new payroll processes and system improvements to better payroll processes.
Provides support to employees and other departments including Finance, Nursing and Administration.
Partners with senior members of the Payroll staff to determine the cause of any issues within the HR / Payroll System or API. Setting a course of action to correct the issue and the best process to keep the issue from happening again.
Maintains and troubleshoots payroll integrations and crosswalks.
Database creation and management for additional reporting needs not available within the Oracle system.
Uses SQL and BI Publisher to help develop, validate, troubleshoot, and update reports using the Oracle reporting platform.
Test and document new patches from Oracle quarterly and Vertex monthly. Training payroll staff on any applicable changes related to those patches.
Maintaining access control for the payroll department and assigning roles and access in API.
Program API time and attendance for pay practice additions, updates, and changes including troubleshooting any current or future configuration changes in API.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Payroll Services.
Work Schedule: 80 Hours bi-weekly
Preferred Qualifications/Education:
5+ years of experience working in information systems. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or comparable years of experience in an Information Systems position. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Must be proficient in report writing, database design and maintenance. Must have good written and oral communication skills and be a team player. Must be able to adapt quickly to changing technologies, switch from complex to routine tasks when required and multi-task. Must be able to determine what needs priority and has the ability to complete the necessary steps to ensure it gets completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
