Job Summary
The Payroll Manager will serve as the location's primary payroll manager and client liason. The incumbent will be involved in payroll administration and employee record keeping, providing leadership and client with up to date reporting as needed.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
+ Payroll Administration, Time Keeping and Processing - Will ensure all payroll hours for all hourly staff are updated and corrected on a bi-weekly basis utilizing MyStaff. Will make changes in payroll system only when authorized by employee and/or manager to do so and according to Crothall payroll policy. Must meet strict payroll processing deadlines and follow up on payroll errors as needed. Collaborates with on site management staff to set up timesheet review process prior to payroll to minimize errors and get employee/manager approval. Submits manual payroll check requests as needed. Run payroll reports, analyze and document payroll journals.
+ Attend employee and client meetings and participate in training
+ Prepare reports for budget reconciliation; weekly and monthly
+ Write memos, letters and other formal regional communications
+ Complete all daily, weekly or monthly reports on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlines
+ Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations
+ Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
+ Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
+ Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
+ 3-5 years of administrative experience
Education:
College degree or equivalent work experience preferred. 3+ years related work experience.
Computer skills:
Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
