Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll Manager in Sterling, VA. Responsibilities: * Lead Payroll Operations: Oversee payroll processing for over 2,000 employees across 35-40 states using ADP Workforce Now (version 4 or 5) * Team Management: Manage and coach the payroll team, providing training on ADP Workforce Now and other payroll processes as needed * Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure compliance with multi-state tax regulations, garnishments, and payroll tax laws. Maintain meticulous accuracy in all payroll transactions * Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to optimize payroll operations in a high-volume environment * Collaboration: Work closely with the HR, Finance, and T&E teams to ensure seamless payroll integration with other functions, including GL posting and audits * Global Mobility: As the company expands globally, manage payroll for employees working overseas and ensure compliance with global mobility rules and tax regulations * Gov Con Expertise: Ensure payroll operations meet the unique needs and compliance requirements of government contracting (Gov Con) regulations * Shared Services: Assist in the setup and ongoing development of a Shared Services Center, with an eye for scalable processes and long-term operational efficiency
