Description Robert Half is in search of a Payroll Manager for a Brookfield, Wisconsin area organization. The Payroll Manager will be in charge of auditing, managing benefit functions and processing bi-weekly payroll. Responsibilities: • Undertaking auditing tasks to ensure accuracy of payroll data • Processing bi-weekly payroll in a timely and efficient manner • Monitoring and maintaining accurate records of all payroll activities • Resolving any payroll-related inquiries and issues promptly and professionally • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations. • Coordinating with the HR department to ensure correct employee data • Generating reports for upper management, finance department and auditors • Reviewing and improving existing payroll policies and procedures • Staying updated with the latest trends and changes in payroll laws and regulations. Requirements • Demonstrated ability to perform auditing tasks with a high degree of accuracy. • Proficient in managing benefit functions, including compensation, insurance, and retirement plans. • Experience in processing bi-weekly payroll for a large workforce. • Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems. • Excellent understanding of payroll taxes and employment laws. • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain its integrity. • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees regarding their pay and benefits. • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills to handle any payroll discrepancies. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
