The Role

Seeking a Payroll Officer to join our agile and dynamic payroll team in our Subiaco Head Office.

This position is responsible for performing all activities necessary to process end-to-end payroll, including maintaining related records. We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and is flexible and proactive in their work style.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and processing accurate payroll processes using PayGlobal (end-to-end payroll). Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates/changes. Maintain employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations. Review timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies. Prepare end-of-month reporting and compliances. Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll process and operations. Liaise with and support the HR and Finance teams. Work closely with Payroll Manager to improve data capture and processing efficiencies within payroll.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

Previous experience in a similar role Experience in Payroll Processing Experience with PayGlobal (not essential) Experience working with Enterprise Agreements is an advantage   Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment Excellent computer and Microsoft application skills
