As a member of our Enterprise Employees Financial Services team, you will be part of a world-class organization that provides efficient and compliant financial services to our Operating Companies around the globe.

SECTION 1: POSITION SUMMARY

Join our team at Johnson Johnson as a Payroll Support Coordinator and make a vital contribution to the flawless functioning of our global payroll system. Your expertise in information technology and meticulous approach will be highly valued in this role. Collaborating with different teams, you will help identify payroll requirements, implement any required modifications, and ensure the smooth operation of payroll processes. This position plays a significant part in driving our organization's success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Analyzes and provides a solution to the problems of new applications or improvements in the applications to ensure that the solution delivered is of quality, on time and complying with the requirements of the client.

· Solves problems and provides solutions to the problems with the existing platforms; he/she is proactive in avoiding having the same problems happening twice.

· Provides payroll technical expertise to his/her peers business partners.

· Identify and understand business opportunities and challenges and propose valuable solutions for the company.

· Discover ways to automate and enhance current processes and offer actionable suggestions for improvement.

· Participate in technical design, contributing viewpoints and ideas to translate business needs into specific solutions.

· Recommend solutions that balance competence needs for innovation and standardization/harmonization of processes.

· Manage multiple moderate-sized projects and serve as a key resource on larger projects.

· Understand and handle the relationship and delivery of payroll services by third-party vendors in accordance with contractual service level agreements.

· Analyze processes, define, and document business requirements, and effectively communicate them to the technical team.

· Build productive relationships with business partners and vendors by actively listening, clarifying, and responding to questions and problems.

· Manage goals and objectives, perform root cause analysis, and identify compliance risks.

· Improve current technology by discovering innovative ways to enhance the organization's effectiveness.

· Balance IT standards and strategies with business needs to guide well-informed decisions.

Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

Applies the procedures and processes in an effective manner, complying with Johnson Johnson IT standards.

Applies the requirements of compliance within his/her area of responsibility, provides and performs the requirement documentation and participates in the activities of compliance when required.

Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.

Maintains a high degree of confidentiality, data protection assurance, conformity with JJ policies, procedures, external regulations, and agencies.

Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

· Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.

· Experienced in describing the flow of processes to help in the redesign, re-engineering, etc.

· Bilingual: English/Spanish

· Experience with Knowledge Management artifacts such as Desktop Procedures (DTPs), Standard Operations Procedures (SOP’s).

· Proficiency with Compliance requirements (SOX and Business Controls).

· Ability to optimally audit payroll process and identify root cause of errors.

PREFERED

- Experience in implementation of new software solutions.

- Experience in People Net, Workday, Kronos, Global View, Microsoft Dynamics, Tress, SAP, E-time, WFM, etc.

- Expert in the use of Lean, Six Sigma tools.
