**Adecco** is looking for a **Wages Payroll Specialist** to work with prime and subcontractors to ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements. + **Pay rate:** $52.08/hr + **Work Hours:** M-F 8 am to 5 pm **Position Description:** The Wages Payroll Specialist will keep abreast of Federal and State laws and other relevant information including Davis-Bacon and Related Act (DBRA), Federal Rate tables, etc. Will also be responsible for ensuring complete understanding and full administration of “Bona-Fide” fringe benefits under DBRA, including life insurance, health insurance, pension, vacation, etc. Reviews certified payrolls and appropriately addresses delinquent certified payrolls. **Key Responsibilities:** • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all laborers and mechanics employed by contractors or subcontractors on IRA-funded projects receive wages that meet or exceed the prevailing rates determined by the Department of Labor, in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit certified payroll reports to relevant government agencies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain comprehensive records of payroll data, including employee information, wage rates, and job classifications. • Audit Support: Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and maintaining organized payroll records. • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure understanding and adherence to prevailing wage requirements. • Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in prevailing wage laws and regulations, including those specific to IRA projects, and implement necessary updates to compliance processes. * Performs other duties of a similar nature as may be required. **Qualifications:** • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in prevailing wage payroll processing and certified payroll reporting. • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of prevailing wage laws, including the Davis-Bacon Act and IRA-specific regulations (required) • Skills: Proficiency in payroll software and certified payroll systems; strong attention to detail; effective communication skills.
