Overview: This role is onsite in Farmington, CT. We are seeking an experienced Payroll Services Associate to join our team. Candidates must be able to work independently. This position involves handling various payroll-related tasks, managing multiple clients’ interactions, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll services.

\n

About the Payroll Services Associate Role: In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of payroll-related tasks including retrieving and opening mail, scanning and distributing mail, performing wage audits, handling manual W-2Cs, pulling, balancing and printing reports. Additionally, you will utilize a stamp machine for mailing purposes, manage multiple clients and communications, and respond to emails in a timely manner. Your ability to manage time wisely and work independently will be crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

\n\n Provide front-end handling and customer support\n Retrieve incoming mail and scan and distribute mail to appropriate departments\n Conduct wage audits and handle manual W-2C forms\n Pull, balance, and print payroll reports\n Manage client interactions and respond to emails promptly\n Payroll tax balancing\n Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with payroll regulations\n Manage client employee data related to new hires, terminations, personnel master file changes, and employee time via upload to and from third-party vendor\n Research and respond to all payroll questions and inquiries via Case Management System\n Complete year-end project\n\n

Requirements:

\n\n Previous experience in payroll services and a background in payroll taxes\n Proficiency in Microsoft Excel\n ADP experience is a PLUS\n Excellent time management and organizational skills\n Strong attention to detail and accuracy\n Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently\n High school diploma or GED required\n Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test\n Must be 18 years of age or older\n At least 2 employment references\n\n

Your role will be critical in ensuring our clients receive accurate and timely payroll services. Excellent customer service, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks will be key to your success.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $45,760- $57,200.
