Description We are looking to bring on a Payroll Specialist for our operations in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. In this role, you will be a vital component in the overall payroll group, dedicated to achieving total customer satisfaction. You will be expected to collaborate with all team members in ensuring tasks are accomplished efficiently. You will also be able to assist with a payroll implementation project and help ensure a seamless transition. Responsibilities: • Full cycle payroll processing for 8,000+ employees (bi-weekly and monthly) • Overseeing the payroll department's compliance with current government regulations • Assisting employees with payroll and payroll tax questions • Conducting accruals and sub-ledger reconciliations with the general ledger • Leveraging your skills in HRIS Payroll System, International Payroll, Payroll, and Microsoft Excel to ensure efficient operations. Requirements • Proficiency in ERP or HRIS Payroll Systems. • Extensive knowledge of Payroll procedures. • Demonstrated ability to manage and execute all aspects of payroll operations. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions (pivot tables, Vlookups and some macros exposure is highly preferred) • Excellent understanding of payroll taxes and employment laws. • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
