Payroll Specialist
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for all employees and providing support for various payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Responsibilities: + Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner. + Calculate wages, deductions, and adjustments as per company policies and relevant regulations. + Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions. + Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters. + Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed. + Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies. + Participate in payroll audits and provide necessary documentation and support. + Generate and distribute year-end tax documents, including W-2 forms. + Handle other payroll-related tasks and special projects as assigned. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. + Experience working as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role. + Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. + Strong mathematical and analytical skills. + Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong organizational and time-management skills. + Familiarity with PAYCOM is a plus.
