We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Pawtucket, RI. This is a fully in-person position, ideal for someone with a strong background in construction payroll.

 

Responsibilities:

Process and manage payroll for all employeesEnsure accurate and timely payroll processing, including job costing, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reportsMaintain and update payroll recordsHandle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepanciesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulationsPrepare and submit certified payroll reportsCollaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in construction payrollStrong understanding of job costing, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reportsProficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information with integrityStrong communication and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations

Compensation:

Pay range: $25.00 to $27.00 per hourFlexible pay based on experience
