Payroll Specialist

We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist based at our HQ in Frisco, TX

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to all levels of employees and management.  Including but not limited to answering inquiries in a timely manner, providing assistance with payroll corrections, and working closely with Payroll Specialist I and HR partners.Manage payroll processing in fast-paced environment with accuracy and in accordance with SOX and internal controls.Load and enter payroll data from multiple sources ensuring appropriate balancingReview payroll reports to identify potential issues and resolve discrepanciesTroubleshoot errors associated with payroll systemManage payroll overpayment process and assist in recoveryProcess off-cycle checks as requestedManage bank ACH returns issuing replacement checks Support audits and regulatory requirements according to Federal and State rules Requirements Education: High school diploma and some related college coursesMinimum of 5 years high volume payroll experience utilizing a computerized payroll systemAdvanced knowledge of multi-state payroll processing Full understanding of payroll operations including time and attendance, gross to net, and payroll taxFamiliar with processing payroll for employees under collective bargaining agreementsProficiency with MS Office Excel and experience with SAP or ADP Globalview preferred Company Overview
