Payroll Specialist - Orlando, FL

As a payroll specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of our client's payrolls. You will work closely with our employees and provide them with excellent customer service. You will also work closely with the Human Resources team and other internal stakeholders to ensure that all payroll-related processes and procedures are followed and that timekeeping in payroll processes is flawless.

Responsibilities 

Accurately calculating and processing employee payrolls, including taxes, employee benefits, garnishments, sick leave, and other payroll deductions. Maintaining payroll records and ensuring all data is entered into the payroll system accurately and in a timely manner. Ensuring legal compliance is always maintained. Providing excellent customer service by answering payroll-related questions and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner. Maintaining accurate records and producing payroll reports Keeping up to date with changes in payroll laws and regulations and communicating any changes to clients Collaborating with the HR team to ensure employee records are up-to-date and accurate. Participating in ad hoc and special projects to improve payroll processes.

 Qualifications

High school diploma, required; Associate’s, or Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related field, preferred 4 years of experience in payroll processing as a payroll specialist Knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws Extensive work experience with employee payroll software, UKG Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in [Microsoft Office and Excel Strong communication and interpersonal skills
