Our client in the HR industry is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be part of the HR department supporting the payroll team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Payroll Specialist **Location:** Port Orange, FL **Pay Range:** $22+ per hour, depending on experience **What's the Job?** + Reviews, or directs review of, personnel records to determine names, rates of pay, and occupations of newly hired workers, and changes in wage rates and occupations of employees on payroll. + Process bi-weekly payroll and related items. Verify time & attendance for bi-weekly payroll. Work with department supervisors regarding time & attendance. + Work in conjunction with HSE regarding new hires, training, accident reporting and safety. + Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses. + Coordinate new hire benefits and enter into payroll system.
