Payroll Specialist
Hybrid Payroll Specialist Needed Job Description Our Client is a leading provider of consulting, engineering, and technical services worldwide. We are proud to be home to leading technical experts in water, environment, infrastructure, resource management, energy, and international development. We offer competitive compensation and benefits and are searching for innovative people to join our teams. They are looking to add a payroll specialist to the team. Our Client owns a total of 45 companies, so this person will be conducting payroll for multiple companies at a time. The company has over 10,000 employees, and each payroll specialist processes payroll for 1100-1500 employees bi-weekly. They currently utilize ADP Payforce, and ADP experience is highly preferred but not mandatory. Beginner -level Excel skills (spreadsheets and data entry) are required. Hard Skills + 2+ Years of Payroll Experience with 300+ employees + ADP Experience + Basic Excel Knowledge (Vlook Up and Pivot Tables) Additional Skills + Knowledge of computerized payroll systems + Knowledge of payroll regulations such as federal and state wage and hour laws, and tax laws. + Must be able to perform basic to moderate math calculations. + Must have the ability to perform detail analysis. + Must have good oral and written communication skills. + Must be able to research, analyze and resolve payroll related issues and to maintain complete and accurate records. + Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. + Strong interpersonal and problem resolution skills. + Versed in the use of a PC and related application such as Windows, Excel and Word. + Skills Requirements: + Knowledge of computerized payroll systems, preferably PayForce, ADP Reporting, Pay@work + Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills + Excel and Oracle Time and Labor Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
