Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for assisting with the administration of payroll for Virginia Hospital Center and subsidiaries including bi-weekly payroll processing, employee assistance for payroll related questions and payroll related disbursements. Payroll Specialist will function as back up to the Payroll Manager and be able to process payroll independently if required.
Education:
High School Diploma required.
Bachelors in accounting or in a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Two years of experience in computerized payroll system is required.
One year of experience in automated time & attendance system is preferred.

None.
