Kforce has partnered with a small biotech company in Lexington, MA that is seeking a Payroll Specialist to assist in identifying a candidate to process bi-weekly payroll for 40-50 employees. Added bonus if candidates have at least light accounting experience to be able to help with a few additional areas such as closing recs, stock options activity, and helping to clean up tax returns and 401k audit. This position will last until at least June 2025 but will most likely go longer. This is a part-time opportunity and could be anywhere from 5-20 hours a week. Summary: For candidates strictly with payroll experience, the hours will be closer to the 5 per week. Duties can be done in the evening, if need be. For those with the payroll and accounting experience, hours could be closer to the 20 per week. For those with payroll and accounting experience, preference is for a candidate to be able to come into the office anywhere from 1x a week or a few times a month, but not required.
