Initial Phase: The first month will be onsite, full-time, allowing you to become familiar with the team, workflows, and organizational culture.Ongoing: After the initial onboarding period, the role transitions into a hybrid model, with a flexible remote work component balanced with occasional in-office days as needed. ResponsibilitiesPayroll Specialist:
Perform daily payroll department operationsManage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timelyExecute Kronos time and attendance processing and interface with payrollReconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reportsUnderstand proper taxation of employee benefitsProcess garnishment calculations and complianceRun ad hoc financial and operationally reporting as neededProcess manual checks when neededRespond timely to facility and employee questionsPerform other work duties as assigned by the Director of PayrollQualifications
Payroll Specialist:
High school diploma or equivalent required 3 or more years’ experience working in payrollStrong PC skills including proficiency in ExcelDecision-making, problem-solving and analytical skillsOrganizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skillsStrong work ethic and team playerThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
