Responsibilities: + Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations. + Process payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. + Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries regarding payroll. + Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, and non-taxable wages and reporting on this. + Undertake relevant record keeping and managing payroll reports for the audit. + Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls, as well as compliance with external laws and regulatory guidance. + Support process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations. + Coordinate with the HR and Accounting Department on payroll related matters. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. + A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing. + In-depth understanding of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes. + Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations. + Computer savvy with working knowledge of payroll software. + Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written). + Remarkable organizational and multitasking abilities.
