Description We are in search of a Payroll Specialist to join our thriving team based in Garland, Texas. This role is dedicated to managing payroll processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency, utilizing your skills in Accounting Software Systems, Ceridian, Dayforce, 401k - RRSP Administration, About Time, Accounting Functions, Auditing, and Benefit Functions. The opportunity offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Efficiently managing the payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees • Utilizing Dayforce for payroll processes, while being open to using other payroll systems as necessary • Ensuring accurate and timely closure of timesheets and reporting • Handling garnishments and ensuring payrolls are appropriately funded • Processing payroll across multiple states, with a particular focus on complex locations such as California and New York • Maintaining accurate records of customer credit and processing customer credit applications • Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions based on account statu Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required • Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce is necessary • Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration is expected • Knowledge of 'About Time' software is mandatory • Ability to manage all Accounting Functions is crucial • Skills in Auditing are important • Experience in managing Benefit Functions is needed Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
