Description We are searching for a skilled Payroll Specialist to oversee our company's payroll system and manage the payroll team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for ensuring all payroll operations run smoothly, being prompt and accurate. They will also be expected to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain a basic understanding of current company practices that may affect payroll financials. Key Responsibilities: + Collect daily, weekly or monthly timesheets. + Calculate bonuses and allowances. + Prepare employees’ compensation by the end of each month using payroll software. + Schedule bank payments or hand out paychecks directly to employees. + Distribute payment statements and gather signed receipts (digital or paper). + Report on payroll expenses. + Ensure wages and tax withholdings are complied with by following regulations. Qualifications: + Proven experience as a payroll specialist or payroll manager. + Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices. + Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field. + Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases. + Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality. + Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail. + Excellent communication skills.
