Description
We are searching for a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Spokane, Washington. This role primarily focuses on the processing of payroll, maintaining payroll taxes, and handling unions and shift differentials. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be expected to utilize your skills in accounting software systems, auditing, and benefits functions. This role offers a long-term employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and process payroll transactions using accounting software systems
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of payroll taxes and handle related inquiries.
• Manage payroll for union and non-union employees, addressing any related issues.
• Address shift differential adjustments as needed.
• Utilize Excel for data management and reporting purposes.
• Oversee 401k - RRSP Administration and other benefits functions.
• Conduct regular auditing of payroll records and processes.
• Handle inquiries related to payroll and benefits, providing accurate and timely responses.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting and Payroll Software Systems is necessary
• Ability to administer 401k - RRSP Administration is preferred
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary
• Auditing skills are important
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is preferred
