Description We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team based in Reston, Virginia. In this role, you will handle various responsibilities related to payroll processing and auditing, as well as assisting in the implementation of payroll software. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll • Conduct regular audits on timecards to ensure accuracy • Assist in the implementation of new payroll software • Handle manual data entry tasks related to payroll • Undertake responsibilities related to month-end and year-end duties • Monitor the in-house bi-monthly payroll process • Take charge of maintaining accurate payroll records.
