Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Specialist to join our client's team on a contractual basis. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for effectively managing all tasks related to the payroll process. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in payroll coordination, ensuring the accurate processing and recording of the company’s complex bi-weekly payroll. Responsibilities: + Process payroll in a timely and efficient manner + Verify all overtime hours and ensure they are correctly entered into the payroll system + Processing employee inquiries regarding payroll matters + Monitor and resolve any discrepancies promptly + Manage payroll tax compliance in accordance with local, state, and federal laws + Ensure the confidentiality of payroll data and protect employee privacy + Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams to synchronize data, improve processes and resolve issues Requirements + Prior experience in a similar payroll role, ideally 3+ years + Familiarity with payroll software, such as ADP, Paychex, or Ceridian + Strong numerical skills and attention to detail + Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines + Experience with local and federal payroll tax requirements + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
