Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Job Description

The Payroll Specialist will be based in Nashville, TN. In this position, you will report to the Sr. Payroll Manager. The role involves managing payroll processes, guaranteeing precision, and upholding regulatory compliance at all levels. This is a full-time position requiring an onsite presence four days a week, with an optional remote workday on Fridays.

ResponsibilitiesProcess bi-weekly payroll for employees located in the USA using the Workday payroll system.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.Assist in day-to-day payroll operations.Work with ADP Smart Compliance to ensure quarterly taxes are filed correctly.Process off-cycle payrolls as required for terminated employees.Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues in a timely manner.Assist with year-end payroll process, including reviewing and reconciling payroll data.Assist with international payroll operations.Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll.Prepare payroll and audit reports as needed.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years’ experience with Workday payroll processing.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.3-5 years’ experience with multi-state payroll and payroll tax.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with payroll vendors for international payroll preferred.Work Environment

This position requires working in an office environment four days a week, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
