Benefits & PerksCompensation: $30 to $35/hourPlease note, this role will be hybrid (twice a week at the client’s Stoney Creek Office Monday and Wednesday IN OFFICE).1 month contract with potential for an extension.Monday to Friday 35 hours a week, 1 hour lunch8am or 9am StartResponsibilitiesProcess hourly payroll on weekly basisProvide payroll, pension and benefits administrative supportProcess the weekly hourly unionized employee’s payrollProcess pension and benefit plan entries, including, but not limited to, enrolments, changes, leave of absences and terminationsEnsure all employee records are accurate and up to date, hours of work, attendance, vacation, leave of absence, overtime, and benefit entitlementsAssist with the year end processMaintain records for month-end reporting and remittancesProduce and submit ROE’s both within the payroll system and manually where requiredQualificationsDegree or Diploma in AccountingMust have over 3 to 5 years of Full Cycle Payroll Canadian experience with benefits experience.Union payroll experience is a must.Process payroll for over 500+Enrolled or Completed PCP Designation is an Asset.Proficient in Ceridian Dayforce or any other payroll system is a MUST.Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, Formulas).
