Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in South Easton, Massachusetts. The chosen candidate will be part of an industry-leading electrical contracting team. The role involves processing payroll for a substantial number of employees on a weekly cadence, including both hourly and salaried staff. Additionally, the role encompasses a spectrum of HR functions. Responsibilities: • Process weekly payroll for a diverse team of hourly and salaried employees • Manage and maintain accurate HR documentation • Address and manage Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) situations • Utilize Accounting Software Systems for various accounting functions • Administer employee 401k - RRSP • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance • Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits • Use UKG Pro and UKG Ready for payroll processing and management • Work with 'About Time' software for efficient timekeeping and payroll management • Oversee and manage Benefit Functions for employees. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Familiarity with Dayforce is a significant asset. • Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration is essential. • Knowledge of the 'About Time' system is preferable. • Understanding of various Accounting Functions is necessary. • Prior experience in Auditing is crucial. • Familiarity with Benefit Functions is required. • Proficiency in using UKG Pro is a significant advantage. • Experience with UKG Ready is highly desirable.
