Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Santa Ana, California, for a skilled Payroll Specialist. This role is within the financial services industry and will focus on ensuring the smooth running of payroll operations and benefit reconciliations. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate processing of payroll using ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce. • Perform reconciliations of Health Savings Account (HSA) to payroll. • Utilize accounting software systems for payroll processing and record keeping. • Administer 401k and RRSP Administration tasks. • Carry out auditing tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. • Manage About Time software for timekeeping and payroll purposes. • Handle various accounting functions related to payroll. • Oversee benefit functions, ensuring all employee benefits are accurately recorded and updated. • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll and benefits. • Monitor and update customer credit records as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential. • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required. • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is important. • Understanding of Ceridian software is necessary. • Capability to operate Dayforce is crucial. • Knowledge of 401k - RRSP Administration is needed. • Familiarity with About Time software is beneficial. • Proficiency in Accounting Functions is vital. • Auditing skills are important. • Experience in Benefit Functions is required.
