Description Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced and efficient Payroll Coordinator for an exciting contract role with our client in Ossining, New York. If you excel at managing and processing payrolls, handling deductions, preparing periodic reports, and responding to related inquiries, you may be the detailed-oriented professional we’re seeking. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate, supervise and assist in the preparation of payroll or payroll worksheets based on employee records. • Maintain comprehensive payroll records for each employee, including all deductions such as health insurance, social security tax, and others. • Calculate periodic or special payrolls, deductions, salary increases, final paychecks and net pay. • Respond to inquiries on payroll procedures, social security, retirement rates, health insurance, etc., verbally, via email or in writing. • Prepare and type periodic reports on social security deductions, income tax, health insurance, retirement, etc. • Use computer applications like spreadsheets, word processing, calendars, e-mail, and database software for work assignments.
