Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Seattle, Washington. Responsibilities • Address and resolve employee inquiries in a timely manner. • Monitor employee accounts. • Implement, maintain, and review payroll systems to ensure accurate processing of transactions, such as salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. • Maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions. • Establish and maintain cross-functional partnerships within teams to collaboratively develop solutions to complex payroll issues. • Facilitate audits by providing necessary records and documentation. • Recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures, focusing on efficiency and best practices. Requirements • Proficiency in using Workday for payroll related tasks • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Table and VLOOKUP functionalities • Experience with full cycle payroll processing, including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes • Proven experience processing for 1000+ employees • Proven experience processing international payroll • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
