Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the Wholesale Distribution industry. Located in Bedminster, New Jersey, this role will involve handling various payroll duties within our finance team. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently processing customer credit applications • Collecting timesheet data and payroll information • Entering data into payroll databases, including W4, 401k deferrals, Garnishments, Child Support, Union dues, etc. • Reporting monthly hours and wages along with payments due to various Unions • Administering and maintaining the electronic timekeeping system • Maintaining and updating personnel records by reviewing and entering changes in exemptions, status, and pay; assigning PTO plans • Processing manual checks when necessary • Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and concerns • Generating and reconciling payment requests via the AP department for all employee contributions • Ensuring the completion of payroll in a timely manner. Requirements • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential • Ability to use Dayforce is desired • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is needed • Experience with Benefit Functions is a plus • Experience in Accounting Functions is necessary • Understanding of About Time software is a plus • Knowledge of Ceridian is beneficial • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required • Auditing skills are necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
